Riderz a le plaisir de vous annoncer le premier événement de descente francilien sur le plus gros spot de Paris, la rue de Menilmontant !

On n’a pas trouvé mieux pour vous motiver à venir vous éclater dans la capitale !
Le dimanche 5 octobre à partir de 9h, la rue sera à vous pour toute la journée !!
PROGRAMME :
– Le premier Boardercross de France de 9h à 16h
Avec un parcours de 400m à 8% de pente moyenne parsemé de virages et modules : départ sur plateforme, kicker, virage relevé, table, et tunnel.
Les qualifications se feront par boarders de 3, et les finales par 4.
Préparez vous, on vise entre 7 et 9 runs pour les qualifications le matin, + les runs de finale à partir de 15h.
Prévoyez les protections obligatoires (idem freerides) : Casque intégral, dorsale, gants, genouillères, coudières.
– Deuxième événement : le Slide Jam de 16 à 17h sur la partie la plus pentue du spot (150m à 10,5 %)
Jugement en mode slopestyle sur le style, les slides, et les tricks sur le kicker de 40 ou 59cm de haut.
Si vous êtes morts après le boarder, pas de problème… Installez vous en terrasse pour matter le contest dans un bar qui longe le spot 🙂
Protections obligatoires : Casque bol, gants, genouillères.
A gagner : 3 tonnes de lots pour le boardercross, et un prize money + des lots pour le slide jam.

– Skateboard / Roller non licencié : 20€
– Skateboard / Roller licencié FFRS : 15€
– Skateboard / Roller licencié RiderZ : 10€
TARIF pour le Slide Jam skate : 2€ (reversés en prize money au vainqueur)

INFOS PRATIQUES :
– Les inscriptions en ligne ouvriront mardi soir à 22h22 pour le boardercross, sur le site de la DDE69.
On propose 60 places pour le skateboard, et 16 en roller sur invitation (runs par 4, même protections obligatoires).
Inscriptions sur place pour le slide jam.
– Le petit dej et le repas du midi pourront être pris au supermarché à côté du départ, ou dans les nombreux bars qui longent le parcours.
– La soirée aura lieu dans un bar au milieu du spot.
A partir de 18h : Remise des prix et fiesta !
– L’événement est organisé par l’association RiderZ en collaboration avec le Comité Roller Skating Paris (www.CDRS75.com) et avec le soutien de la Ligue Île de France.

– Appel aux bénévoles : vu le délai pour l’orga et la date qui approche si jamais vous êtes dispos pour nous filer un coup de main n’hésitez pas à vous signaler, on cherche du monde avant l’événement (modules, affiches par ex), et pendant (bénévoles pour l’installation / démontage, et pendant le contest sur le parcours en commissaire de course).

RiderZ is very pleased to announce the very first downhill event of Paris on one of the best spots of the city, la rue de Ménilmontant!
Perfect asphat, big slope and the view of Paris… What more could we do to motivate you guys to come out and have fun in the capital!
Sunday, October 5th at 9 am, the street will be all yours for the whole day!
PROGRAMME:
– The first BoarderCross in France, from 9am to 4pm with a 400m course, 8% average slope, interspersed with corners and 4 modules: a kicker, a banked corner, a table and a tunnel.
The qualifications will be done by boarders of 3, and finals by 4. Prepare yourselves, we are aiming from 7 to 9 runs for the qualifications, and that’s without counting the final runs for the best of you!
Make sure you bring all the mandatory protections you have in freerides: full face helmet, back protector, gloves, knee and elbow pads.
– Second event : the Slide Jam from 4 pm to 5 pm on the steepest part of the road (150m, 10,5%) with a kicker (40 or 59cm high). Prize money and lots of prizes will be given out for the winners! Mandatory protection: helmet, gloves, kneepads.
Many sponsors are already behind us : Bedeux, Blackkross, Cult, Lush, Sabre, HawaiiSurf shop, Board-Z, Line Spirit… and we haven’t even started seeking out sponsors! There will be lots of prizes!
ENTRY FEE for the Boardercross :
– Skateboard non affiliated to french federation : 20€
– Skateboard affiliated to french federation : 15€
– Skateboard affiliated to the RiderZ associtaion : 10€
ENTRY FEE for the Slide Jam : 2€ (cash back in prize money for the winner)

The boarder cross will be open to 60 skaters and 16 rollerbladers (invitational, 4 man runs, same mandatory protections)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
Lunch meals can be bought at the supermarket next to the start or in the many bars along the course.
The party will take place in a bar towards the middle of the course, starting from 6 pm: Award ceremony and fiesta!
The event is organised by the RiderZ Association in collaboration with Departmental Roller Skating Comity of Paris (CDRS75) and with the support of the Île-de-France League.
Given the date that is getting closer, if any of you are available to give us a hand, do not hesitate and send us a message. We are looking for help before (modules, posters, etc.), during (volunteers for setting up/taking down, and course commissioners during the contest)

Riderz vient d’obtenir l’accord de la mairie du 20ème arrondissement pour faire un boardercross dans Paris !
Avant de revenir un peu plus tard sur l’organisation de l’événement, on peut vous dire que :
– le spot sera la rue de Menilmontant, fermée en partie toute la journée du dimanche 5 octobre.
– ce sera un contest en boardercross + un slide jam sur une pente de 6 à 10%, tout ça avec des modules.
– et que vous allez vous gaver !
